If you paid attention in school, you may be familiar with the Greek Myth of Sisyphus. In this story, a man (Sisyphus) angers the gods and is forever condemned to pushing a boulder up a mountain, only to have it roll back down once he gets it to the top. Needless to say, Sisyphus is not too thrilled with this occupation. (Though if he spent a few months working for Stupid.com, he might think more highly of the rock-pushing gig.) This adorable kitchen timer reminds us of Sisyphus's frustration. It's an adorable little mouse perched atop a clear dome protecting a wedge of Swiss Cheese. The delicious cheese is just inches away, yet the poor mouse will never, ever get to it. The plastic timer operates with a simple twist of the wrist, and there is no need for batteries.
